Experts Name the Best Trucks in Modern Automotive Manufacturing

In today’s world, innovation in the automotive industry extends well beyond passenger cars, reaching heavy trucks as well, which now feature a range of options that even top-tier passenger vehicles don’t offer. Experts have put together a list of the top 5 standout trucks.

Taking the top spot is the American Tesla Semi. This fully electric truck is capable of traveling 482 to 805 kilometers on a single charge.

Second place goes to the KAMAZ-65209. This truck features a 6×2 wheel configuration and can also achieve notable fuel savings when driven without a load or trailer.

Third place belongs to the futuristic F-Vision truck from American manufacturer Ford. Its cockpit design resembles Iron Man’s helmet, and the vehicle is capable of driving without a driver in certain designated zones. Unloaded, this model can accelerate from 0 to 100 in just 5 seconds, and in its top configuration, the truck can travel up to a thousand kilometers.

Following these three is the Mercedes-Benz Actros, which comes in numerous variants and features X-Pulse technology along with an asymmetric turbocharger.

Rounding out the list in 5th place is the Russian-made Ural Next 6×4. Its production version was released just a few days ago. The manufacturer produces dump trucks capable of hauling up to 15.6 tons, as well as semi-tractor units rated for weights of up to 62 tons.
