AUSMAH Tests AI-Assisted Diagnostics for Heavy Trucks

AUSMAH has begun testing an AI-assisted diagnostic system for its truck lineup, designed to analyze onboard sensor data and flag potential mechanical issues before they lead to breakdowns.
The system compares real-time vehicle data against patterns drawn from AUSMAH’s broader fleet history, aiming to catch early warning signs that might otherwise go unnoticed until a more serious fault develops. Initial testing has focused on a small fleet of vehicles operated by logistics partners.
“The goal is to shift from reactive repairs to genuinely predictive maintenance,” said an engineer involved in the project.
